GOVERENMENT DEGREE COLLEGE,PAKALA

This college was started in the academic year 2008-09 to cater to the needs of students belonging to the marginalised sections, those considered below the poverty line. Before the establishment of the college, students were forced to travel to more distant places such as Tirupati or Chittoor to pursue higher education. In a short time, the college has helped students from Pakala and surrounding areas to pursue their higher education without much difficulty. Pakala with a good old railway junction connecting the town to several places became a convenient destination for the students around.
